Bulk Billing Podiatrist
Our feet are our foundation for living an active and fulfilling life. This is why Advance Foot Clinic is happy to offer bulk billed Podiatry appointments to eligible patients, as a bulk billing podiatrist, across each of our five Queensland clinics.
All Advance Foot Clinic Podiatry locations accept Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) referrals. Medicare does not cover all Podiatry appointments, though rebates are available with an eligible Medicare referral.
Eligible patients with a valid Medicare referral may choose to book a bulk billed appointment Monday – Friday from 9am to 3.30pm.
Alternatively, you could book a standard appointment and receive the Medicare rebate back. Patients with a valid DVA referral are eligible for bulk billed appointments.
What is a Medicare bulk billed Podiatry appointment?
Our Medicare bulk billed appointments are 20 minutes in duration. Alongside being a bulk billing podiatry clinic, we have also reduced our fees so there are no out-of-pocket expenses for patients with a valid and eligible Medicare referral and concession card for valid podiatry services.
Bulk billed appointments are available weekdays between 9am and 3.30pm. Outside of these hours, you can book a standard appointment for a full consultation fee and receive the Medicare rebate.
If you are specifically after a bulk billed podiatry appointment, we recommend booking your bulk billed appointments in advance due to limited availability.
Bulk Billed Podiatry for Medicare Referrals
Which Medicare referrals are eligible for a bulk billed appointment?
There is the Chronic Disease Management Plan, also known as an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan. This referral provides up to 5 Medicare rebateable Allied Health appointments per year.
People of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent are eligible for an additional 5 Medicare rebateable appointments per year.
These referrals are not letters your GP writes. They are specific Medicare forms provided to eligible patients with complex chronic medical needs such as Diabetes.
Your GP may choose to allocate your 5 visits between multiple Allied Health Providers. For instance, you may have 4 for Podiatry and 1 for Physiotherapy.
For Advance Foot Clinic Podiatry to use the referral, it must be current, addressed to Advance Foot Clinic Podiatry (or one of our podiatrists) with available appointments for Podiatry.
To determine if you are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan, speak with your GP.

Advance Foot Clinic podiatrists bulk bill DVA Gold Card and White Card Holders. If you are a White Card Holder, to be eligible you must have a condition requiring Podiatry care. Prior to your appointment, you will need a D904 referral from your GP.
