Home Aged Care Podiatry
Advance Foot Clinic provides professional aged care podiatry services for older Australians who want to continue living safely and comfortably in their own home.
Through My Aged Care funding, many seniors can access podiatry services as part of a Home Care Package or other government support programs. These services are designed to help older Australians maintain mobility, independence, and overall foot health as they age.
As part of our mobile podiatry Brisbane services, our experienced podiatrists can visit you in the comfort of your home. This means you can receive high-quality foot care without the stress of travelling to a clinic.
In many cases, your podiatry visit may be fully funded, meaning there may be little to no out-of-pocket costs. Some patients may also be eligible for free podiatry for pensioners, depending on their funding arrangements.

- You are aged 65 years or older
- You are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or older
- You are aged 50 years or older and are homeless or at risk of homelessness
Eligibility is assessed through My Aged Care and is based on your health, mobility, independence, and daily support needs.
Payment Options for Home Aged Care Podiatry
There are three main ways seniors can access podiatry services through Advance Foot Clinic.
1. Out-of-Pocket (Private Mobile Podiatry)
If you are not currently receiving government funding, you can still access our home visit services privately.
This option allows you to:
- Book a home visit podiatrist directly
- Receive mobile podiatry services at home
- Pay privately for your appointments
This is part of our mobile podiatry Brisbane service and is often the fastest way to get started.
2. Support at Home Program
The Support at Home program is designed for people with more complex and ongoing care needs.
It may provide funding for:
- Regular podiatry treatment
- Chronic disease management
- Mobility and foot health support
- Ongoing allied health services
This program supports seniors who need a higher level of assistance to remain living independently. We can work with you once you have funding approval.
3. Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme is an entry-level support program for seniors who need low-level assistance.
It can help cover:
- Basic foot care
- General podiatry visits
- Early intervention and prevention
- Support to maintain independence
This option suits seniors who are mostly independent but benefit from occasional support.
