Podiatrist Cherize Theron graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2014 with a Bachelor of Technology Honours (Podiatry) degree. In 2016, she completed further study with a Certificate in International Interprofessional Wound Care through the University of Toronto and an Advanced Course in Diabetes Care for Health Professionals.
Cherize joined the Advance Foot Clinic Podiatry Mount Isa team in 2019 and is now working from our Brisbane clinics. Prior to this, she worked in a private practice in South Africa and at the NMC Royal Hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
Cherize has a keen interest in diabetic foot management, ingrown toenail surgery and building relationships with patients. She is most passionate about improving a patient’s quality of life. For her, prevention is always better when it comes to feet.
