Podiatrist Services

Our Podiatry Services

Whatever your podiatric complaint, our podiatrists have the skills and experience to diagnose and treat any lower limb condition. We will get to the cause of the issue and provide our services to efficiently deal with it, therefore relieving any pain or discomfort you are experiencing.

We handle foot, ankle, leg and knee pain as well as any skin or nail conditions. This includes fungal nails, corns and plantar warts as well as ingrown toenail management and surgeries. From children’s development to senior’s podiatry, we see it all in our clinics every day.

We provide continuing diabetic foot care and assessments as well as multiple solutions for any biomechanical issues. Our highly trained podiatrists can prescribe custom 3D printed orthotics in addition to a range of dynamic ankle-foot orthoses.

Medicare for Podiatry

Medicare provides rebates for eligible patients with a valid Medicare referral from their General Practitioner. Thus each of our podiatry clinics accept Medicare referrals.

Additionally, some patients may be eligible to book a bulk billed podiatry appointment.

We welcome all NDIS participants that are independently managed, plan managed or agency managed. Like most NDIS funding, there must be a connection between the disability and the podiatry service being provided for it to be approved.

Seniors Podiatry Services

Problems with our feet naturally occur as we get older. However, this isn’t something you or your loved ones need simply put up with. Our experienced podiatrists regularly treat seniors, in our clinics as well as in their homes or care facilities. We have the skills and knowledge to assist with skin and nail conditions, lower limb injuries and pain as well as diabetic foot health, arthritic changes and wound care. We are also able to help with footwear recommendations and mobility assessments for falls prevention.

DVA Podiatry Services

Diabetic Foot Care

Podiatrists play an important part in screening for foot health problems and keeping you well. A podiatrist should always be part of your diabetes health-care team. This team works together to monitor, maintain and improve your quality of life when living with diabetes. For the best in foot health, it’s recommended you see a podiatrist regularly. Diabetic foot assessments are incredibly important if you have been recently diagnosed with diabetes or have a history of previous complications. Larger health issues can often be seen early in our feet.

If you’re anxious about the pain you may feel with your infected or ingrown toenail treatment or your local anaesthetic injection, we have great news for you; we offer a completely pain-free, needle-free local anaesthetic injection option at Advance Foot Clinic.
